Swim, Swim, Swim

It's been another fun summer in the water! Millie has learned how to swim across the pool; Gracie discovered how cool goggles are and how fun it is to get around with little fear once her favorite floaties are on; Claire learned how scary it is to almost drown (Thanks uncle Jeremy for saving her!). She went from cautious to brave and back to cautious again. The girls love dancing with daddy in the water. He throws them up and spins them. And they were brave to go on some fun slides too. We still haven't found the perfect shampoo to keep our blonde hair from turning a tint of green! So we decided to just enjoy the water, then get haircuts at the end of the summer.

With four children, our cameras came out a lot less when we were near water, but we managed to get a few shots:

We had a lot of fun cousin swims and BBQs in grandma and grandpa's pool. What a cute Grandma we have! And there's Eila, too!!

We were so glad when Addie, Violet & Cecily moved back west. It was so fun to see them a couple times over the summer.

And we kept up with our tradition of going to the "yellow slide" (rec. center) on Pioneer Day with Alex and Tiff (and baby Emma). The girls look forward to that all year long!

We also had some fun evenings with the Ormes and Robertsons at Raging Waters. We were well into the summer when we discovered how fun this place was (and doable, even with a newborn), so it was sad to see the season end.

It a bit spendy, but Paul Mitchel makes a great shampoo (Paul Mitchell clarifying Shampoo Three) that removes residue and is great at helping with chlorine. My sister in law who does hair buys it for me with her discount so that helps.
